Hi, my name is Ioana, I’m a romanian FILMMAKER, currently based in rotterdam, the netherlands.

I love horror. And I love how gender finds its way within scary narratives.  At the center of my works I favor writing female character and placing them in situation that challenge their own morality. Obsession is what drives even the most mundane to insanity and later on to self-destruction. These stories are not cautionary tales, they are exploration of how far can my characters go when their deepest desires are at play.
